“No other agency in Sullivan County does more to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families,” said Anne Park. “Turning Points Network is there at every step from providing a 16-bed emergency shelter to counseling, court advocacy, assistance with employment, returning to school and transitional housing as well as presenting a wide range of violence-prevention education programs to Sullivan County schools to stop the pattern of violence before it begins.”
Anne Park of Granite State College will lead this year’s challenge as Honorary Chair of Steppin’ Up, supporting TPN’s commitment to raise $105,000 to assist survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

An Open Letter from our Honorary chair

Dear Friends:

Your help with Steppin’ Up 2017 could save a life…

…because even today, a woman, child or man can be “sold” in New Hampshire for sexual services… and even this year, more than sixty women and their children will need to reside in our emergency shelter to be safe from abuse… and even in our own schools, right now, children can bully others causing serious emotional damage.

This is Turning Points Network’s 40th year of providing free support to survivors through our 16-bed emergency shelter, peer support groups, court advocacy, financial empowerment, and transitional housing as well as violence prevention programs designed for every age group in our public schools.

Last year, we assisted 864 women, children and men in their journeys to become safe.

And we reached 2,457 school children in Sullivan County with messages, role-playing and workshops on Anti-Bullying, Healthy Relationships, Consent and Sexual Violence, Body Safety and Preventing Dating Violence among a wide range of programs aimed at stopping violence before it can begin.

Our services will continue to be free to all who need them, in part through our 11th annual Steppin’ Up to End Violence Walk and Fun Run on Saturday, May 6.

We invite you to join our ongoing efforts to end violence in our communities by supporting Steppin’ Up and

  • Be one of the first to sign up at the leadership levels and TPN will promote your business in our ongoing, multi-media marketing of Steppin’ Up, now through May 6th.

  • Questions? Email  info@turningpointsnetwork.org and TPN will get right back to you!

TPN’s challenge is to bring the funds raised – from teams, sponsors, individuals and foundations – to a total of $105,000! Which means TPN can be available to every survivor in Sullivan County who needs us, whenever they need us, and continue our violence-prevention education reducing the number of victims and perpetrators.

We also invite you to consider the Double Platinum $1000/$1000 11th Year Corporate Challenge

  • If you advance your support to the $1000 Platinum Level.
  • And challenge your employees to raise an additional $1000 or more.
  • TPN will provide a water station on the Walk Route for you to promote your business while supporting the walkers and runners, and your corporate name will be prominently displayed during the event.
  • You will receive 12 FREE Steppin’ Up tee shirts for your team, generously provided by The Ink Factory.

Your support of Steppin’ Up is very appreciated. If you have supported us in past years, we are grateful. If you haven’t yet, we hope you will join us this year in doing everything we can to reach TPN’s 2017 goal of $105,000.

Sincerely yours,
